Research

  • physical chemistry of polymers, cross-linked polymers and polymer networks, thermodynamics of polymer solutions and mixtures, polymerization reaction engineering
  • technology of production and modification of chemosetting resins (e.g. epoxy resins, and unsaturated polyesters),
  • synthesis and modification of functionalized polymer resins for catalytic and sorption applications,
  • conversion of oxiranes in reactions with mobile hydrogens, kinetics and catalysis of reactions involving transition metal compounds, asymmetric catalysis in the presence of chiral complexes of metals immobilized on polymers,
  • preparation of metal containing polymers for carbon-carbon cross couplings reactions, metal nanoparticles on reactive polymers, and metal complexes - metallic precursors,
  • synthesis of monomers and liquid crystalline polymers,
  • synthesis and applications of hyperbranched polymers
  • porous ceramic materials by gel casting of foamed slurry,
  • design and synthesis of organic compounds having pharmacological activity,
  • synthesis of chiral organic compounds and racemate separation.
